Thomas Chen
Chairman & President
Thomas Chen, the Founder and CEO of Swiftlink Technologies, is an accomplished entrepreneurial technology business executive with expertise in building successful technology companies and business units. He demonstrated early innovation by developing the 400 MHz Central-Free Multi-Channel Addressing System, which won an award in 1992. At Huawei, he introduced his ETS wireless local loop system, which became highly profitable and foundational for Huawei’s wireless division. Subsequently, as CEO of TCL Communication, he expanded the R&D team and launched the successful ACS800 broadband access system. Recognizing the significance of full-band ultra-broadband technology, he assembled a strong team and in 2018 unveiled the world’s first millimeter-wave ultra-broadband RF transceiver module. Mr. Chen currently holds over 90 international invention patents.
Dr. Rony E. Amaya
Director
Rony is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Switflink Technologies and brings over 25 years of technical and research management experience. Prior to Swiftlink, Dr. Amaya held technical positions with Nortel Networks, Skyworks, Teslonix, Solantro Semiconductors, Nanowave Technologies and ELPHIC. Dr. Amaya was a Research Scientist for the Communications Research Center Canada (CRC) from 2006 to 2015, developing R&D technology for integrated RF circuit and system solutions from S-band to E-band and addressing packaging and antenna integration. . He is also an Associate Professor in Electrical Engineering with the Department of Electronics, at Carleton University since 2016. His research interest includes RF System Design, MMICs and packaging for High-Frequency and High-Speed Applications, Active antennas and metamaterials and Energy Harvesting and Wireless Power Transfer. He has authored or coauthored more than 140 technical papers in journals and conference proceedings and holds several patents.
Andy
Director
Andy serves as the Director and Chief Financial Officer of the Company, overseeing the accounting, finance, and human resources functions. With over 20 years of experience in audit, finance, and accounting, he brings deep expertise in mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and IPO readiness—playing a key role in preparing Swiftlink for entry into the capital markets. Prior to joining Swiftlink, Andy held CFO roles at public companies in Canada, Singapore, and Hong Kong for 15 years, where he successfully led multiple fundraising and M&A transactions. His earlier experience includes finance leadership positions at Dell, Ernst & Young, and Deloitte etc. Andy holds CPA designations in both Canada (CPA, CA) and the United States (US CPA), and earned his MBA from San Diego State University.

Dr. Paul Slaby
Board of Advisors
Paul is an accomplished entrepreneurial technology business executive with expertise in building successful tech companies and business units. As a founder, CEO and angel investor, he has been through several complete cycles of growing technology ventures taking them from napkin sketch to revenue and investment exit. He brings a combination of technology background and hands-on operational management experience, including over 20 years as CEO of various tech ventures in microelectronics, semiconductors, telecommunications, AI/ML, design automation, cybersecurity, and software development in companies such as Teslonix, VoIPshield Systems, Atmos, BNR and Nortel. He’s currently head of Canada’s Semiconductor Council and advisor to several technology ventures.
Dr. Jim Wight
Board of Advisors
Professor Jim Wight is a Chancellor’s Professor in the Department of Electronics at Carleton University, Canada. He has made outstanding academic and industrial contributions in the fields of wireless communications, radar, and navigation systems. His research focuses on antenna structures, millimeter-wave circuits, phase-locked circuits, and transceiver architectures for wireless/satellite communications, radar, and radio navigation. Professor Wight has served as a consultant, Chief Scientist, and Principal Architect for several wireless technology companies, including Kaben Wireless Silicon, IceFyre Semiconductor, BelAir Networks, and Aurora Wireless. He has also collaborated on joint research projects with the Communications Research Centre Canada and Defence Research & Development Canada. In academia, Professor Wight has held a visiting professorship in the Radio Engineering Department at the Institute National Polytechnique de Grenoble in France. He also designed and delivered a short course on multilateration for the Agency for Defense Development and LIG NEX1 in South Korea. Additionally, he served as a board member of Telemus Inc. from 1995 to 2007. Professor Wight has received numerous honors and awards for his exceptional contributions to antenna and communication technologies, including being named a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering and receiving the IEEE Canada Reginald A. Fessenden Medal. He currently serves on the Board of Advisors of our company, providing strategic guidance and technical leadership.

Robert is a former Distinguished Engineer, Scientist and Technologist (“DEST”) at Apple who played a pivotal role in inventing the world-first embedded antenna for all wireless cell phone design. Over the three decades of experience in antenna science, Rob has accumulated over 80 U.S. patents throughout his career.
Dr. Ke Wu

Professor Wu is a distinguished academic and researcher, recognized as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and the Canadian Academy of Engineering. Currently serving as the Director of the Poly-Grames Research Centre, he has made significant contributions to the field of Wireless Communication and Antenna Technology. Furthermore, he is a proud Member of the German Academy of Science and Engineering, reflecting his/her/their commitment to advancing engineering and scientific knowledge on an international scale.
