Swiftlink Technology promises to deliver energy efficient System Level ICs powered by solar power. With the current limits in photovoltaic efficiency ~ 400W/mm2 (soon to increas to 1kW/mm2), Swiflink solutions with high energy efficiecy can be fully powered by solar panels with footprints of one square meter or less. The solar powered system level ICs can be fully embedded into the skin of building materials and enable a new generation of enhanced-base station. The enhanced base stations will be formed on the skin of high-rise smart building. The smart building will be capable of directly communicating with satellites (eyes on the sky), between smart buildings and support communication links both inside and outside the smart buldign boundaries.
Swiftlink, together with its Australian partners, innovatively upgraded traditional photovoltaic modules into intelligent terminals with both power generation and 5.5G/6G communication capabilities by integrating self-developed EMB ultra-wideband system-on-chip communication modules, opening up a new track of “photovoltaic + communication” integration.
