SLW5009 Frequency Synthesizer for 5.5G/6G/LEO Application
SLW5009 is a CMOS silicon on insulator (SOI), 27.9GHz to 38.4GHz, mmWave 5.5G/6G SATCOM Frequency Synthesizer (FS). The RF output of the FS is phase locked to an external 52MHz crystal oscillator. The FS is an electronic feedback control system, which include a Phase/Frequency detector, charge pump, clock divider and voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO). The RF output frequency is adjustable from 27.6GHz to 38.4GHz, by adjusting the frequency divider ratio. The divider ratio is controlled by a PS counter, the P counter value is adjustable from 0 to 15 and the S counter value is adjustable from 0 to 7, using the serial port interface (SPI) programming. The SLW5009 can be programmed using a 3-wire SPI. Various SPI modes are available to enable fast startup and control during normal operation.
